The studio and suite, located in the heart of Philadelphia, are housed in an early 1900s brownstone, possessing a tastefully curated minimalist ambiance. Couples can choose to enjoy the space in its current state or leverage its understated elegance to serve as the perfect backdrop for a florist to transform.

Monica
Monica, the founder and chief designer of Vaux Studio, is a resident of South Jersey and a mother of three. Since launching her first venture in 2012, she has collaborated with countless couples, creating elegant stationery and paper goods, refining her calligraphy craft along the way. With the opening of Vaux Studio, she has not only continued her love for bespoke design but has also brought her passion for interior design to life. The eclectic, vintage atmosphere of the studio is a true reflection of her style, complete with antique mirrors, brass candlesticks, and seasonal florals. Monica's creativity and design prowess are unparalleled, and she has the ability to seamlessly translate her love for art and design into a true representation of each couple's unique style and personality as they exchange vows at Vaux.
Meghan
Our in-house photographer, Meghan has been an integral part of Monica's journey since the beginning, providing assistance whenever required and overseeing the management of our social media accounts and capturing the moments that happen behind-the-scenes. Outside of Vaux, Meghan focuses on her own brand, Meghan Siobhan Photography, where she utilizes her skills to capture stunning images of couples, families, and brands. Her passion for photography has only grown stronger since the birth of her daughter and the passing of her mother. She understands that while moments are fleeting, photographs are everlasting. Meghan's infectious energy and effervescent personality make her an instant best friend, and she humorously refers to herself as a professional third wheel. You can expect to be left with either a beaming smile or misty eyes in her presence. She is Florida born and New Jersey raised and resides in southern New Jersey with her husband, daughter, dog, and four chickens.
Chanel
A former Vaux bride herself, Chanel became part of our team at Vaux Studio in 2021. It was a serendipitous occasion as Vaux was looking to expand, and Chanel was keen to collaborate. Her expertise in herbalism, flowers, and plants made her an ideal fit as our resident florist. Additionally, her natural inclination towards organization and management skills has led to her being appointed as the Director of Operations. Alongside her role at Vaux, Chanel runs her own lifestyle blog and brand, Waxing Moon House, where she chronicles her journey in homesteading, homemaking and hosting. She currently resides in central Jersey with her husband and four children and together they tend an expansive garden, raise chickens, keep bees and frequently host bespoke garden to table gatherings.
